Sorry its been Crazy travel Fiesta.

So I am down in Punta De Mita Mexico for the winter. I am shaping down here if anyone needs a board. I am trying to get up about 10 more boards I recently did so there will be some good stuff coming through here again.

BTW I scored epic surf with just friends and no wetsuit! Canada is cold. Mex is not, simple...

The Weapon construction

Being plagued by shit waves this summer I reached deep to build a micro ripper. Polyurethane blank with Resin Research Kwick Kick Epoxy.

5'4 x 19.25 x 2.25

This one is small but had enough foam hidden to keep it easy. I would say order one of these 5 inches shorter than your HP shortboard. I went a little shorter as a experiment to see how small I can go and not be  struggling.

My blood, sweat and tears are in these boards.

I cut my hand shaping a board a few days ago. 12 stitches inside and 15 outside. So when you think you pay a lot for a surfboard think of this picture.

PINK SINGLE FIN

6'4 single fin cruiser preview...
I went a little more messy on this swirl to give a little punk rock street look to it. Beware riding this board may cause you to wear tight jeans and have a new school mullet.

Mornin Wood!

Got up this morning and it was sunny and warm so I decided to glass a Hollow wood surfboard I made awhile back. 5'10 Liz fish replica with spoon nose. Pics are before glass and with a layer on.

Stil not quite there but this is a little different. Paging Robert Girvin I am calling in some Free graphic work.
6'6 single fin Egg. Navy opaque resin tint on top. Swirl on the bottom. This is the finished sneak peak board. The Pics don't do it justice. Gonna be one smooth styler. I hope nobody buys this one bc I think I want it for myself. Its for sale at Long Beach Surf Shop. Learn to do a real turn ride a single fin!

Here is my new logo that I am working on. I wanted something I can do in white or black for a simple look on opaque and tints. let me know what you think. I have been taking a photoshop class so I finally got to use it. Its a 1800's compass rose on a old map that I did a little work to.

6'10 cruiser

Here is a great shape for those who hate carrying a longboard but still want to paddle and trim. This board will turn really easy also. The tapering cutlaps where a new experiment for me and will reduce some weight also. The pinstripe on the bottom is resin. The board came out really light. I was inspired by my wife not wanting to carry a longboard on small days.

Takin a Break

So its been 20 ft for over a week so I took a break and went down Island. Just a little tactical strike mission. 2 days 12 hours of driving 8-9 hours of surf and freezing my ass off while sleeping in my truck. I am quite beat after that. I never go down there but it is quite beautiful and surprisingly different than Tofino. I say my first black bear of the season chillin on a clear cut out by Port Renfrew. Its been a very warm winter so i hope they are doing ok. All in all I scored great waves both days. First day surfed with a bunch of angry people at a point break and second with four guys at a overhead reeling river mouth. So I am getting back to work new pics soon I hope.

Sneaky Preview

This ones gonna be a sick single fin. More style than you know what to do with. This is a preview pic of the bottom. It looks different bc it hasn't been fill/hot coated yet.

Custom for Super Rob!

This is a great all around shortboard replacement. This is a more realistic daily driver for the waves in our area. Rob wanted something that will paddle well enough to compete with the loggers and still crank some turns. This is a variation of my small egg with a little straiter outline. It has a little more curve than the pictures show. Sorry no nice backdrop bc its storming like crazy outside.

Fun with color

couple of 5'8 quads. This is my favorite shape. They go good in just about everything until its well overhead. Ride about 4 inches shorter than your short board. Don't get trapped in a box!

Got some new blanks

Had to go to seattle so I stopped by fiberglass supply. I love when my truck looks like this.

6'6 E wing Bonzer Egg

So last time I was in SD I stopped into moonlight glassing. Great people and some of the nicest boards you will see. Anyway JP said I should try this crazy 6'8 E wing bonzer shaped by Malcom Cambell. The Cambell brothers invented the bonzer back in the 70's, So I tried it in all kinds of surf it did it all. I fell in love with this board. Well I hate wings but had never seen these elevated ones before. They actually make the board ride about 4 inched shorter. So I shaped myself a 6'6 when I got home. I love this board. It will crank turns or trim, your choice.

6'1 EGG!

I love these boards. They have carved out a small niche for me. They are very fast and will surprise you with there hold. They are not some of the fat tailed quad monstrosities I have seen out there. I got some great color separation on the resin swirls. Its in Longbeach surf shop If you have to have it! I ride a 5'8 on most days so ride one 4 inches smaller than your shortboard or ride it a little bigger and get some cruizzzyy style.
